Join us in Llano Texas for the only overland event in Texas and the largest in the central United States. Each year we seek to serve the fastest growing overland community in the US. What we provide is a centralized place for the overland enthusiast to come and see some of the latest overland products available, talk with amazing vendors and representatives, become more educated in necessary skills, and to meet and visit with scores of like minded people. While there are other options available out there, what makes us unique is that we are seeking to not just show you products but to instead foster and grow this amazing overland community. We are a family friendly, smaller and more intimate version of some of the bigger trade shows out there, all in the heart of Texas. So what you can you expect to find at the Outdoor Expo? We offer the opportunity to camp out the entire weekend at a reasonable cost, meet and chat with top notch vendors, put your hands on some of the cutting edge products available to the overland community, take classes and watch presentations on things like navigation, first aid, recovery and other necessary skills. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to be part of a very special community that is growing here in Texas. We have long partnered with the folks over at Texas Overland and one need only spend some time around this group of fellow travelers to see that something great is happening here in Texas. We are part of the larger overland community, but add our own bit of spice to the pot.
We keep mentioning community because it is important to us. Another important phrase is family. We strive to provide an event that is entertaining and positive for the entire family. We host community bonding events like cast iron cookoffs, gear swaps, mappy hour, kids games and activities and movie night to make sure that the entire family is engaged. A new feature this year will be a family only area for camping that is geared to provided campers a quiet place to lay their heads each night without impeding on the night owls. We understand that at the end of the day it isn’t about the cool rig, latest equipment, or patches on the ceiling (although all of that is nice!) but instead is about the memories you make when pursuing this rewarding lifestyle.
So mark you calendars and make plans to come down to Llano Texas and take part in one of the most special events in the US. Come experience some Texas hospitality in the beautiful Texas hill country and remember to always #LiveLifeOutside!

The Fall Uwharrie Outdoor Summit will take place on October 19, 2019 from 10AM to 4PM across from the Eldorado Outpost located at 4021 NC Highway 109 N. Troy, NC.
The Uwharrie Outdoor Summit is the re-focused Uwharrie OHV Jamboree that comes with a persistent attendance averaging 2,000 to 4,000 people at each of the previous 12 events from South and North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.
We welcome all outdoor enthusiasts back to the Uwharrie Mountains for another season of fun and adventure by land, water, and sometimes by air. This builds upon an established base and expands the adventure for those seeking to enjoy nature.
The Uwharrie Outdoor Summit will also further the general public’s knowledge of Tread Lightly and Leave No Trace principles so that future generations can continue to enjoy the same lands that rejuvenate us with each trip.
Our goal is to provide informational resources regarding off-road driving, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, water recreation and more.
Join us for a community strengthening experience that will support all outdoor enthusiasts.

Why We Ride?
The Skinny Tire Festival isn’t just about riding bikes. It’s about saving lives. This is why we donate $25 for every registration we receive to the Moab Cancer Treatment Center.
Moab contains some of the best road biking in the world. There are hundreds of miles of paved roads in and out of the world-class scenery that is known by every adventure seeker globally.
This 4 day festival rides the best of the best:
Arches National Park
Along the mighty Colorado River
Dead Horse Point State Park and back
4-Day or 2-Day Options
The four rides of the Festival highlight Moab’s different riding opportunities. Two days follow the mighty Colorado River corridor, both up-stream and downstream. The other two days leave the valley and climb the beautiful canyon roads into red rock country visiting Dead Horse Point State Park and Arches National Park.

Coming in May 2020, there will be a new 3-5 day (still planning routes to know how many days) trail run stage race. This race will go along with the Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic that started in 2010. Don’t worry, cyclists and runners will be on different trails each day.
The race will be based at a boy scout camp just outside of State College, Pennsylvania. Tent camping is included with registration and there’s also cabins on property available for upgrading. Stay during the race and make some new friends that will last a lifetime. The cyclists call this, Single Track Summer Camp.
