My 4×4 is stock? Can I still do the 101 class?
Yes! This class was built with stock or slightly modified vehicle in mind!
We encourage drivers to bring their vehicles as they are so that they can see what the vehicle can do as is.
If you are new to the sport or need a refresher we recommend taking the 101 class.
My 4×4 is heavily modified but I have never been off road….can I just skip the 101 and take the 201 class?
Vehicle modifications are great but if the driver is not skilled with the fundamentals of proper four wheeling these modifications will eventually meet their match.
Take the time to learn the basics!
I have a Dodge Ram 1500, can I take the scheduled group 101 class?
Full Size truck and SUV drivers (Dodge Ram 1500, Ford Raptor, Tahoe, Blazers, etc. Please email to see if your vehicle falls under this list) While your vehicles are fully capable of the trails the width and ground clearance of your particular vehicles are an issue that you need to be aware of. The trails you will encounter are tight/twisty areas that are not accommodating to full size trucks. With group guided rides and classes, these vehicles in question are at risk for damage due to the size of the vehicle. We encourage full size truck drivers to consider hiring a guide for a private guided ride or a private instructional class depending on what your goals are. Signing up for the private options allows the guide or trainer to choose full size friendly trails to limit the amount of scratches, dents, etc. If you have any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need to buy any gear or equipment to take the class?
You do not need to bring any gear or equipment to participate in the class. It is imperative that your vehicle has true four wheel drive or the 4 lo option. Please email email@example.com if you are not sure if your vehicle has true four wheel drive.
